![]() ![]() I don't think a few missed bites will really matter, even if you were really pushing numbers. You can't tell when you're going to have gigantic crits or when growl will get resisted and having to kite or melee mobs is a huge downer.Īs for raiding, as I understand it it's a joke for now so go for whatever. If you have a nice keybind setup with maybe some more mouse buttons so that you can avoid making big movements, go ahead I guess. The list of abilities shows that at some point I could learn growl rank 3, but I can't find where to get ranks 1 and 2 anywhere. but I can't find where to learn growl rank 1. This is coming with the next expansion that releases on August 13th. The growl turning off automatically in dungeons is not yet in the game. This is the same level where you'll be able to choose a specialization: Beastmastery, Marksmanship, Survival. Micro'ing is annoying imo but if you really wanna do it, do it I guess. Comment by Thottbot I did all the hunter pet training quests, found the pet trainers, etc. You will gain the pet tab and control of your pet at level 10. Also iirc bite + claw on autocast has the same problem, at some point your pet starts only using claw because too low focus, or missing some bites and not using it on cd even though it's the better damage per focus spell. The dps gain is not worth all the micro imo. Otherwise, you can always manually use Claw and leave the rest on auto, but tbh you could also just leave Bite or Claw off all the time and be done with it. ![]() There might be a macro to toggle autocast if you want to control things without having to manually cast. ![]() If you have Bite Claw and Growl on autocast, your pet will run out of focus and cast things randomly without any prio. Classic WoW Hunter Pets Guide - Guides - Wowhead Classic WoW Hunter Pets Guide By Moofzy Last Updated: 1 Changelog Patch: 1.14.3 Favorite: Rating: 4. I can use it manualy if i use only Bite (on autocast) and dont use Claw at all but with this setup my pet has often full energy and thats DPS leek.īite or Claw or both? Should i use both or just one of them? Or both on autocast or just one and the other use manualy? I can imagine having Bite on autocast and have aleways energy for taunt and when pets full, dump energy with manual claw but it starts to look tol complicated, would it be worth the trouble? How does it work while raiding? they say i will only use 1 growl per fight, but the thing is, when im chain pulling and have a bite and claw on autocast, the pet doesnt have enough energy for another growl, sometimes doesnt have enough to use bite on CD either but when i put it on autocast, its waste of energy since it uses it when its not needed. Use growl (taunt) manualy - well here i have a issue. should i try another pet? Like wolf or serpent, maybe owl or bat?īut the main issue and reason for this post is my pets abilities and information i got from several guides. I read they do the most damage and i never have serious issue with aggro. So, im hunter lv 51 and im leveling with a cat from the start. ![]()
